Cresa Washington DC recently represented Furey, Doolan & Abell, LLP in a 10,500-square-foot relocation from 8401 Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase, MD, its home since the early 1970s, to 7600 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, MD. Cresa LLC is the world’s largest corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants and specializes in the delivery of integrated services.
Furey, Doolan & Abell, a Maryland-based law firm representing clients in multiple practices, will occupy a portion of the Class A office space on the sixth floor. The 209,397 SF building is a part of Bethesda Place, a 537,961-square-foot park with two office buildings and retail space.
Jon Olmstead and Russell Canard of Cresa represented the law firm in the transaction. According to Olmstead, the firm’s lease was expiring, it wanted to right-size its space, and was seeking upgrades and more amenities in a modern office environment for the future leaders of the firm. The projected move-in date is the summer of 2016, and the new location features a fitness center and easy access to the Metro, restaurants, and clients. The landlord, Polinger Shannon & Luchs Company, was represented by Jim Cahill of CBRE.
Cresa Washington DC has local offices in the District of Columbia; Baltimore, MD; Bethesda, MD; and McLean, VA.
