Cape Cod Healthcare has given a $50-thousand grant to the Cape Cod and Islands Major Crisis Relief Fund, or MCRF. The money will bolster MCRF’s post-disaster safety net program. CCHC President and CEO, Michael Lauf, says, “Cape Cod Healthcare has a comprehensive emergency preparedness plan and the MCRF is another step in that process.” The MCRF was established in August 2016. Managing Director, Judy Walden Scarafile says, “The Fund goes into action after other disaster agencies have left the area.”
