Gary was my excellent teaching assistant when he was a graduate student at Boston University’s College of Communication (COM), where he received a master’s of science in Public Relations.
Gary consistently earned the best teaching evaluations in the school, where, as Communications Department Chairman, I named Gary as Director of the Writing Program. He was an amazing professor, a great academic manager, and he also excelled in his award-winning consulting activity and corporate writing seminars during his teaching career. In addition, Gary’s award-winning campaigns on behalf of the American Cancer Society helped to launch his distinguished career at the United Way.
Gary and co-authored two novels during our time at BU, and he also edited the basic writing textbook on Style and Format, which was required reading for COM students.
I am certainly not surprised that Gary has become such a successful public relations executive and has such an accomplished track record.
Gary has great passion, character, and talent, and I endorse him wholeheartedly.
