Served as the outsourced marketing/PR department, managing four people. We helped Harrington grow from a small community hospital into a major regional healthcare system and become the recipient of numerous local and national awards. From the ground-up, we developed a branding/corporate identity and marketing plan; we sustained a hugely successful media relations program, including numerous front-page stories, guest columns, case studies, and daily editorial placements; we implemented an advertising campaign (including print ads, billboards, cable TV, and online physician recruitment); and we produced a full complement of print collateral (hundreds of brochures, newsletters, and direct mail pieces). We established a robust social media platform (including Facebook and Google AdWords campaigns), email marketing, and community outreach/speaking program. Redesigned and upgraded Harrington’s website with numerous videos, testimonials, and blog posts. We also managed major openings and special events, including new Diagnostic Imaging Department, new Cancer Center, new Emergency Department, and new Urgent Care Center. Managed Community & Government Relations Committee and was liaison with research firm that conducted focus groups. Participated at Strategic Retreat and formulated strategy with Executive Committee.
